Welcome to ClayHouse SAMUI Boutique Hotel, our family-owned small hotel, built with love and care in every detail. Our story begins with a deep connection to Koh Samui, when this land was gifted to our mother by our grandfather. As it was a modest-sized plot and its purpose was uncertain, one day our parents came up with the idea of creating a small, warm, and welcoming place to host travelers from around the world.
When we, their children, returned from studying abroad, we continued this dream together, renovating and designing the property into a unique boutique hotel. Our vision is simple: travelers visiting Koh Samui want to be close to the sea and nature, while also enjoying comfort, safety, and reasonable prices.
Although ClayHouse SAMUI has only 8 rooms, we prioritize cleanliness, safety, and attentive service in every detail. Every corner and every room is designed to make you feel comfortable and connected to the natural beauty of Koh Samui, while preserving the warmth and charm of local homes.

ClayHouse SAMUI Boutique Hotel
Officially opened in June 2025, ClayHouse SAMUI Boutique Hotel is a newly built, family-run boutique stay offering 8 cozy and thoughtfully designed rooms. Nestled in the peaceful Baan Hua Thanon community — just steps from the beach — the hotel blends natural earth tones, warm clay brick textures, and modern comfort to create a truly homelike atmosphere.
Its convenient seaside location, tranquil surroundings, and easy access to local restaurants and attractions make it an ideal choice for both leisure travelers and long-stay guests seeking a genuine Samui experience.
The hotel reception and café, Iyalanka (Opening soon) , welcome guests with a calm, natural vibe, while each guest room reflects ClayHouse’s philosophy — “Beach near, Home dear.”

- A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit or full payment of the room rate has been received.
- The hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking without prior notice if payment is not made within 24 hours after the reservation request or within the time specified by our staff.
- Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer to the hotel’s official account. Please present proof of payment upon check-in.
- If the payer’s name differs from the guest’s name, please include the guest’s name in the payment details or attach supporting evidence to confirm the reservation.
- Cancellation at least 7 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of the room rate.
- Cancellation within 7 days before arrival: Non-refundable in all cases.
- No-show: Non-refundable in all cases.
- Guests may reschedule their stay up to 2 times, provided notice is given at least 7 days prior to the original check-in date. If the new date has a higher rate, the price difference will be charged.
- Room rates shown on the website or OTAs may be inclusive or exclusive of taxes and service charges. Please check before confirming your booking.
- In case of a pricing error due to a system issue, the hotel reserves the right to correct or cancel the booking, and guests will be notified as soon as possible.
- If prepayment has already been made, a full refund will be issued only if the error originated from the system.

Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and additional charges as follows:
Early Check-in:
- Before 14:00 hrs – THB 200 per hour.
Late Check-out:
- Between 12:00 – 14:00 hrs: 25% of the first-night rate
- Between 14:00 – 16:00 hrs: 50% of the first-night rate
- After 16:00 hrs: Full room rate per night

Identification:
- All guests must present a valid ID card, passport, or driver’s license upon check-in.
Security Deposit:
- A key/card deposit will be collected at check-in and refunded upon check-out, subject to the room and key being returned in good condition.
- Twin or Double rooms accommodate up to 2 guests.
- Family rooms accommodate 3–4 guests.
- Additional guests beyond the standard capacity must be approved in advance and are limited to 1 extra person per room (if the room allows).
◦ Additional charge: THB 300 per person per night, including pillow, towel, hand towel, drinking water, and amenities.
- If the hotel finds unregistered guests staying overnight, a fine of twice the standard room rate will be applied.
- CCTV cameras are installed in public areas for guest safety.
- Footage is treated as confidential and used only when legally required.
- The hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
- Guests are liable for any damage, loss, or stains caused to hotel property due to misuse and will be charged according to the hotel’s valuation.
- Lost and found items will be kept for 180 days. If unclaimed after this period, the hotel reserves the right to dispose of them appropriately.
- Cooking inside or outside guest rooms is strictly prohibited, including food with strong odours such as durian, fermented fish, or sato beans.
- Guests who wish to bring outside food into their room are kindly informed that the hotel does not provide any tableware or dining utensils, and washing dishes in the guestroom is not permitted. Should such an action be observed, the hotel reserves the right to impose a penalty or terminate the stay without refund.
- Hotel property must not be moved between rooms or taken outside.
- All rooms and balconies are non-smoking areas, including e-cigarettes and cannabis. A cleaning fee of THB 5,000 per room per night will apply if smoke odour is detected.
- Please avoid loud noise or disturbance after 22:00 hrs. The hotel reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund in case of guest complaints.
- Pets are not allowed within the hotel premises.
- The main entrance is open until 21:00 hrs. After that, guests can exit via the side door and re-enter using their key card.
- Unregistered visitors are **not permitted** in guest rooms. A fine of THB 2,000 per person will be applied, and the stay may be terminated without refund.
- Registered visitors must leave their ID card or passport at the reception and may stay in common areas until 21:00 hrs. A fine of THB 1,000 per person applies for overstaying.

The hotel shall not be held responsible for events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, emergencies, or government orders. However, the hotel will make every effort to offer suitable solutions, such as:
- Room reservations are non-transferable to third parties.
- In cases of fraudulent or unauthorised credit card use, or chargeback disputes, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking and deny check-in.
- By proceeding with your stay, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all hotel terms and conditions.
