Morning Rituals &
Artisanal Flavors at !yalanka
Awaken your senses with our own boutique coffee —
a flavour we tasted and refined again and again until it was ready to pour, cup by cup.
From a velvety, smooth iced latte to a bold, refreshing espresso,
every pour is designed to seamlessly elevate your morning experience.
An Instant Awakening
of the Senses
In local Southern culture, when words fail to capture
a moment of pure wonder, ‘!yalanka!’ (pronounced Ai-Yah-Lahn-Kah)
is spoken instinctively. It is the emotion that arises
from the unexpected perfection of the first sip,
or the mesmerizing golden light dancing upon the waters —
an arresting moment that pauses everything around you.
This is the exact feeling we wish to evoke at our cafe.
The inverted ‘i’ in our name, reimagined as an exclamation mark,
embodies a sense of quiet astonishment —
understated, yet leaving an indelible mark on your journey.

Master Craftsmanship,
Meticulously Hand-Formed
Every coffee cup and tableware piece on your table originates from Doi Din Dang, the renowned pottery studio nestled in the hills of Chiang Rai. Each piece is thoughtfully envisioned and handcrafted by Master Somluk Pantiboon, who refined his artistic ceramic disciplines under traditional master potters in Japan.
Hand-shaped and fired with absolute precision, the collection features a natural glaze derived from wood ash and local clay. This organic process ensures that no two pieces are identical, offering a unique wabi-sabi aesthetic that seamlessly complements the earthen architecture of ClayHouse SAMUI —
bringing a touch of understated elegance, warmth,
and meticulous attention to every moment of your retreat.
Our menu changes a little with the season, so treat this as a guide. For prices, times or to book, just ask our Guest Relations Team — in person, or on LINE @clayhousesamui.
At the back of ClayHouse, a few steps from the sea. Open to our guests and to everyone passing through the village.
